David Spencer, the owner of Sac Autos, aimed to take his business to the next level by commissioning the creation of a customized mobile app. The app’s main objective? To grant effortless access to car purchases across all dealerships in Sacramento. With this amazing app, users will be able to not just browse through an extensive selection of available automobiles in the Sacramento region, but also trade-in their existing rides and make fresh purchases right from their fingertips!
TYPOGRAPHY
I found that the best approach for this particular group of fonts was to maintain a sweet, simple, and functional look while ensuring legibility. Among the options, Sukhumvit Set and Noticia Text stood out as they not only added a formal touch, but also meshed well with the original logo font.

COLOR PALETTE
Using a consistent navy blue, midnight black, and fossil grey color palette in this particular application creates a sense of formality, professionalism, and trust among its users. These qualities become extremely important, especially when interacting with individuals who are considering a significant auto vehicle purchase.
LOGO DESIGN
The Sac Autos Automotive Sales logo is identical to David Spencer’s original Sac Autos eCommerce Services logo, with
the exception of the slogan differentiation. This is a common practice done in order to give one’s overall brand a distinct and recognizable identity.
UI/UX DESIGN
In today’s digital era, technology has taken a significant leap, leading to a soaring demand for application design. Nowadays, it seems like everyone owns a smartphone, where applications can be conveniently downloaded. Similar to websites, user experience and user interface (UX/UI) design call for a simple and intuitive layout similar to the Sac Autos application you see below.
